High Temperature
With the SpiderBot 4.0 HT we can extrude materials up to 470°C. An exclusive system for heating the part by infrared radiation maintains the part at a very high temperature and thus makes it possible to better print all technical materials such as PEEK, PEKK, PEI, etc.

Application of peek
PEEK is a polymer resistant to very high temperatures and to many chemical treatments. It is mainly in demand in the aeronautical industry – as a replacement for heavier metal parts – or in the medical fields – to integrate into living organisms. In general, this material is intended for environments heated between 100 and 260 “degrees C”.
